A beautifully engraved decorative map of the whole of France based on the work of Jean Jolivet. This richly colored map is fully engraved with topographical features and numerous cities. The large strapwork cartouche contains text, and a coat of arms is displayed in the stipple engraved sea. Latin text on verso.

A lovely old-colored example on watermarked paper with a short centerfold separation in bottom blank margin. There are some small stains in the image, and some faint damp stains in the blank margins that do not enter image.
