A stunning panoramic view of a huge and magnificent fireworks display in Vienna, which was held at the Imperial Palace in celebration of the wedding of Emperor Leopold I and the Spanish Infanta Margarita Teresa. The two triumphal arches in the foreground feature flaming hearts inscribed with the initials "L" and "M" to symbolize Leopold and Margarita. In front of the arches, Hercules battles the Centaurs, and behind them a phoenix rises from flames on an altar. A very early depiction of an organized firework display.
