A handsome map of northern Italy centered roughly on Milan and Lake Como. The map is filled with details of towns, roads, and topographical details, including the Po River system. The title cartouche features Mars, the Roman god of war, and Ceres, the Roman goddess of agriculture and the harvest.

Condition: B+

Original color with light toning along centerfold, a minute hole only visible when held to light, and a centerfold separation that enters 3" into map image at bottom and has been closed on verso with old paper. There is scattered foxing primarily confined to blank margins.
