This map covers much of the southern part of Europe from Switzerland and Northern Italy to Hungary and Bohemia. It is densely engraved with details including rivers and lakes, mountains, fortifications, cities and tiny villages. The map is embellished with a title cartouche featuring Cronus, the patron of harvest, a geographer and eight coats of arms. Two distance scales are incorporated into the legend at lower right.

Original color with tiny centerfold separations at top and bottom, just entering the neatline at bottom. There is light soiling and a few small abrasions.
