This striking bird's-eye plan of Salzburg is centered on the Salzach River, with north oriented at the bottom. The city's famous fortress on a hill overlooking the city is at top ("M"), with the Salzburg Cathedral ("T") just below. At bottom are two keys identifying 27 important sites. The map is adorned with a coat of arms and a simple scroll cartouche.
