This lovely copper engraved carte-a-figures map covers France and displays the various regions in lovely outline color. Ten figures flank the left and right side of the map showing the King, Queen, merchant, lawyer and a farmer to name a few. Above the map are eight town plans including Paris, Orleans and Bordeaux. Imprint of Richard Chiswell in St. Paul’s Church yard and Thomas Bassett in Fleetstreet. English text on verso.

Nice dark impression and bright later color. There are a few tiny stains and some minor soiling.
