The guidebook provides information covering routes and tour plans, sites of interest, hotels, expected traveling expenses, history and statistics. 16mo. 480 pp. Red cloth with gilt titles, marbled fore-edges, and an attached ribbon bookmark. Condition: Maps are in near fine condition. Spine is worn, and front cover is lightly soiled. A very sound copy. (A)

This lovely little handbook for travelers contains lists of vocabulary words and phrases by category, such as numbers, the earth, and "on board a steamboat." 16mo. 331 pp. Red cloth with gilt titles, and marbled fore-edges. Condition: Spine and covers are lightly soiled, back cover is cracked, and front free-endpaper is detached. Front pastedown has a library bookplate. (B+)
