Harrison D. Horblit assembled one of the finest libraries of early science and travel books. The sale, conducted by Sotheby Parke Bernet, London, took place in June and November, 1974. The catalogs are richly illustrated and include prices realized lists with the buyers' names. Includes Summary Index of Subject, Chronological Index, and Selective Index of Provenances. The two parts are complete; H. P. Kraus purchased the balance of the library. Matching bindings in green cloth covered boards with gilt titles on covers and spines.
