A superb, decorative map of Hertfordshire from one of the most important Dutch mapmakers of the seventeenth century. The map is graphically engraved to show the hundreds, towns, cities, castles, abbeys, churches, woods, rivers with bridges, and numerous parks. Richly embellished in each corner with coats of arms and figurative cartouches.

Fine impression and superb original color highlighted in gold. There is minor discoloration in the blank margins, not affecting the map, else very fine.
