These maps were issued to illustrate the European theater of this major military conflict that involved all of the major European powers of the period and resulted in significant changes in the balance of power throughout the world. This group of maps are from various issues of the rare Grand Magazine of Magazines, published in London from 1758 to 1759.

1) A Map shewing the Winter Quarters of the Hanoverian & French Armies in Germany, (7.3 x 4.5"). Published in the January 1759 issue it is centered on Munster. Extends to include Wesel, Gottengen, Francfort on the Mein River, Maestrich, etc. Jolly GMOM-18.
2) Plan of the Bay of St. Cas Shewing the Posture of the two Armies, at the time of Engagement, (7x x4"). Published in the November 1758 issue. With four war ships filled to the brim with soldiers. Jolly GMOM-12. (B+)
3) Plan of St. Goar, Rheinfels and the Katz, (4.4 x 7.3"). Published in the December 1758 issue. Fine detail of the heavily fortified cities of Rheinfels, St. Goar and St. Goarshansen situated along the Rhine River. Floral themed cartouche. Jolly GMOM-16.
4) A Map of the Environs of Olmutz, from the German Original of I.C.M., (4.4 x 7.5"). Published in the July 1758 issue. Locates the fortified towns of Mahrisch Neustat, Littau, Olmutz, Prostnitz and Tobitschau with numerous interconnecting roads and numerous smaller villages located. Jolly GMOM-2.
5) The Frontiers of Pomerania, Brandenburg, Silesia, Prussia & Poland, (4.5 x 7.6"). This map was published in the September 1758 issue. The map extends north to the Baltic Sea with many villages and small towns located. Jolly GMOM-8. (B+)
6) Plan of St. Malo's, (7.4 x 4.4"). This plan was the first map published by the Grand Magazine of Magazines and was included in the July 1758 issue. Great detail of the fortified city with Pettit Bay Fort, Grand Bay Fort and Fort Royal further protecting the city. Small inset is Part of the Coast of France shows the Brittany and Normandy regions. Jolly GMOM-1.
7) A Plan of Cherburg/The Coast of France from Granville to Dunkirk, (4.3 x 7.5"). This plan was published in the September 1758 issue. The walled city plan has a legend locating five important buildings within its walls. Lower portion is a large inset titled "The Coast of France from Granville to Dunkirk." Jolly GMOM-8.
