Matched and complete set includes 64 copper engraved and hand colored full-page plates. Filled with well drawn images including antelope, reindeer, gazelles, caribou, camel, wild sheep, rams, buffalo, Kudu, and wild and domestic cattle. With frontispiece for Peter Camper in former and John Hunter in latter with corresponding memoir in each. Text and plates by Sir William Jardine, Bart. Hardbound in matching marbled paper with quarter calf. Very decorative with extensive tooling and gilt to spines with four raised bands. The handsome stamped gilt title labels (red & tan) are modern. Marbled end papers and fore edge. Volume III 230pp, Volume IV 264pp.
