This was issued to accompany the report by the Special Committee of the House of Representatives…to Investigate Tax Assessments in the District of Columbia. The map is from the same base map used to produce other thematic maps from this period. The map uses blue and red hand coloring to identify the Most valuable Business Property and Residence Property respectively. Table lists all streets and avenues and gives their width in feet. An uncommon map we've not encountered before. A great gift for your favorite tax assessor.
