This is a nice collection of full page engraved plates, each with several insects on a page. Each page features the critters on one or more flowers or plants and generally their caterpillar and larvae stages are also shown. One page with butterflies, the rest depict colorful moths. These are uncommon plates from Berge's "Schmettlertings-Buch" which cataloged the wide variety of moths and butterflies in Europe.
