This map shows detail of the Nile delta in classical times. Major cities are shown along with an extensive network of roads. Prominent are the pyramids at Memphis. Many historic place names are found on the map, and some mountains and lakes are also named. In the lower left corner, there is an attractive cartouche depicting Egyptian coins and medallions.
