Pocket map folds into pictorial paper covers. Designed as a railroad map, this large and very detailed map is also filled with information on towns and villages, roads, watershed, and much more. The legend uses color and line to delineate 56 different railroads. Complete with its 76 page booklet "Index to State Map of Virginia" listing all towns, counties and railroads. The decorative cover features a fine engraving of a steam locomotive. On the back cover is a full listing of the Indexed Railroad and Township maps available, 41 in all.

A few tape repairs on verso and one folding section with toning. Cover has wear to edges with some blue rubbed away.
