Notable among the collotypes is what is probably the last portrait of Sitting Bull, drawn by Gilbert Gaul only months before his death at the Standing Rock Agency in South Dakota. The lot also includes a striking portrait of a Poobitcie-Moqui girl; Manuleto, Chief of the Navajos; Piah, Utah Chief; and Issue Day Indians Running Beef, all by Julian Scott. Turkey Dance - Pueblo of Jemez, New Mexico is by Peter Moran, Thomas' younger brother; and Pack Train Leaving Pueblo of Taos, New Mexico, drawn by H.R. Poore. The last two collotypes are by an unnamed Comanche boy: War Dance. Participated in by Kiowas, Osages and Pawnees; and Combat Between a Comanche and a Kiowa.
