A thick dictionary that is complete with two volumes bound together. Part I, with 508 pages, covers the A through G terminology and Part II, with 563 pages, covers H through Z. The two parts contain a total of 59 nicely engraved single-page maps, including a foldout map of France that shows all of the country's departments. The maps have attractive outline color, and show cities, towns, topography and watershed. 1071 pages. 8vo. Rebound in gray cloth covered boards with a gilt title on a black band on spine.

Condition: B+

Maps and text pages have light, scattered foxing, and a small section near the middle has heavy toning. Covers, spine and binding are very good.
