An uncommon map covering from Thailand to Papua New Guinea, including Java, Borneo with parts of Australia (New Holland) at bottom, and Taiwan (Formosa) at top. Even tiny islands are named, such as Nila and Bird Isle in the Banda Sea. Several interesting notations concern the unexplored regions and the inhabitants. A large pictorial title cartouche features a local house raised on stilts above a snake infested jungle.
