A handsome, matched pair of large maps which together cover the whole of Portugal. They are filled with engraved detail of topography and cities with the fortifications at Lisbon prominently shown. Each map stands on its own and is graced with elegantly designed title cartouches and scales of miles.

References: Pedley #319 & 321.

Condition: A+

Both maps have nice impressions and superb original color. The second map has a faint crease on the right side, and some faint marginal discoloration.
