This fine map of the Eastern Hemisphere is presented in Delisle's scientific style without decorations. In Asia, Japan is joined with a large island labeled Terra Incognita. Australia is beginning to take shape with Tasman's discoveries shown. This is a later edition engraved by I. Stemmers Jr.

Issued folded, now pressed. There is a faint stain in the map and some tiny, repaired worm holes at left. Paper has been added to the binding trim, at left, to better facilitate framing.
