A nice atlas with all maps present including the large triple-folding maps unique to this publisher. A beautifully engraved view of the U.S. Capital graces the title page, and the Flags of Various Nations adds to the charm of this desirable atlas. The maps are very detailed and show topography, roads, railways, rivers etc. Several maps include insets, and the Africa map has a note in the blank area describing the boundaries of the Congo Free State. 132 Pages. Complete. Folio. Hardbound in original red paper covered boards with an ornately decorated printed title on the front.
