Nice matched set of maps of Cuba from Bellin's work. Each chart is embellished with rhumblines, fleur-de-lys and rococo-style title cartouches. Each is approximately sized as given.

1) Entree de la Baye de St. Yago dans l'Isle de Cube. This is an early, dark impression with layout lines still evident below text. Detailing the southern portion of the bay of Santiago de Cuba, it locates the Fort St. Pierre de Roc, Fort de Ste. Catherine, Fort de la Treille, and the petit Fort sur un Rocher. . Image is very good with a little marginal foxing at right.

2) Plan de la Baye de St. Yago dans l'Isle de Cube. This engraved chart of Santiago de Cuba shows the entire bay with today's Santiago de Cuba here called Ville de Sant Yago. Fort St. Pierre de Roc and its batteries are clearly shown at the harbor's entrance.

3) Le Port Marianne dans l'Isle de Cube. Strongly engraved chart that details the harbor of Marianne on the northwest coast of Cuba near today's Havana.

4) Baye de Matance dans l'Isle de Cube. Shows Fort S. Charles on the Bay of Matanzas, here Bay de Matance. Also shown is the Ville de Matance, today the capital of the province by the same name. The bay is about 30 miles east of Havana on the northernmost arc of the island. The map image is very good with some marginal foxing.
