Very attractive and colorful tourist's map of the popular ski area in Idaho. This very hard to find map centers on the Sun Valley Lodge, which opened in 1936, and the Challenger Inn, which opened in 1937. The world's first chair lifts were installed on nearby Proctor and Dollar Mountains in 1936, graphically shown on the map with towers, cable and hanging chairs, each labeled as a "Chair Tow Line." Drawn by W. Willmarth. A fine promotional map produced by the Union Pacific Railroad company.
