Vancouver's tracks are shown on a small world map bound into this volume between pages 54 and 55. A well executed 294 page introduction by the Editor, W. Kaye Lamb includes a reprint of a letter from Capt. Vancouver's brother, John, to the King in which he seeks to preserve his late brother's good name and reputation as a respected Captain and explorer. Each of the volumes in this set are illustrated with facsimiles of letters, engravings, portraits and more. 12mo. Complete set with 1752 pages total. Hardbound in original blue cloth with gilt vignette on each cover and gilt titles on each spine.
