This lovely view of Paris on two joined sheets is shown from an elevated point looking towards the southwest, over the extensive, fortified Hospitale de St. Louis. Notre Dame is just left of center and the Bastille is at the far left. In the foreground, the artist can be seen drawing the panorama of the city. A numbered key at the bottom lists 56 important places within Paris.

Condition: B

A nice impression on a sheet with a few small stains. A repair on the bottom has some replaced paper and a small amount of facsimile of a few numbers. The margins have some short tears and repairs. Still an attractive piece that would frame well.
