The first sheet has small, but detailed plans of four fortified towns; Dinant, Maastricht, Bouillon and Mezieres, now known as Charleville- Mézières. Each plan is titled within a drape-style cartouche, and the top two have informative lettered keys. The second page illustrates a typical artillery battery with all its operations enumerated.
