This large and strongly colored map identifies 35 different soil types. But its importance comes from the remarkable detail of cities with buildings, schools, mines, roads, dams, fantastic topographic and watershed information, and much more. The map includes southern California from the border with Mexico north to San Juan Capistrano Point, and east to include Morena Dam and the town and reservoir of Cuyamaca. Locates many towns and connecting roads including Oceanside, Encinitas, Escondido, Ramona, El Cajon and many more. The excellent detail is presented at a scale of 1 mile to the inch. The beautiful coloring matches the extensive legends. A handsome sheet.
