This is an interesting Swedish edition of a popular German atlas. The complete atlas contains 72 highly detailed maps, 24 of which are double-page. The maps cover the world and include several very interesting thematic maps including great maps of the world's volcanic regions and trade winds/shipping lanes. The maps are in German with the 97 pages of descriptive text and index written in Swedish. Hardbound in green cloth with quarter green leather spine and corners. Gilt embossed titles on front cover. Published in Stockholm by Adolf Bonnier. A handsome atlas that would benefit from rebinding.

Text and maps very good to fine with some faint soiling on a few maps. There are two signatures loose. Covers are scuffed and rubbed and the spine is missing.
