A lovely view of Paradise Daphne, today's Harbiye and a suburb of Antioch (Antakya), created on the basis of classical sources, including Ammianus, Strabo and Philostratus. According to mythology, Apollo attempted to make the wood nymph Daphne his lover here. Latin text on verso

Lovely old color on a sheet with a repaired centerfold, slightly abraded. A short tear in the left margin, not affecting the map, has been repaired on the verso.
