This decorative map covers from Mexico City to Panama and extends to include part of Cuba. Cozumel is named, as is the island of Grand Cayman. The map has a lovely cartouche surrounded with cherubs and exotic fruit, and five lovely ships sail the sea. This map was initially published by Blaeu in 1662; this is the later edition with the imprint of Pierre Mortier.
