This is a limited edition (#460) facsimile atlas of Schedel's Nuremberg Chronicle printed on the 23rd day of December 1493 in Nuremberg by Anthon Koberger. 289 pp. The edition was limited to 1000 in the USA and a further 350 copies for distribution in Europe. This full-sized facsimile is profusely illustrated with many full-page and text woodcuts. Hardbound folio in white cloth with titling in black and gilt on spine. Ex-libris with stamp noting its withdrawal from the Washington State Library.

Dust jacket is worn along edges with several small tears. Spine, binding and covers very good. Text is very clean and bright with some soiling at the edges of the pages. Tape remnants on inside cover from book protector.
