This atlas uses George Cram's maps to thoroughly illustrate the world to its audience. With 225 wax engraved maps on 91 pages, and over 400 pages of text and reference tables, this atlas covers it all, from politics, finance and commerce to education, agriculture and mining. Comprehensive statistics and historical descriptions further enlighten the reader to the state of the world at the time. Also included are numerous charts, thematic maps and diagrams. Complete. Small folio. 581 pp. Hardbound in original brown cloth with gilt embossed titles on front and spine.

Several pages with fold separations. A couple signatures are loosened and binding is loose, but still sound. Covers are slightly shelf worn, and corners are bumped.
