This large, double page copper plate map is beautifully and finely engraved. It covers Asia and the Middle East, extending from the Red Sea east to show many islands of the Pacific. It includes all of the East Indies and New Guinea. Decorative title cartouche in the form of a medallion with "In Nummo Hadriani" below. Wyld assumed management of Faden's establishment in 1823, so this is an early reissue of the Faden imprint.
