A very large and boldly engraved copper plate map that was "Reduced from the Large Chart in four Sheets by J.F. Dessiou, Master of the Royal Navy." Typical of sea charts, only coastal place names appear with the inland reaches left blank. A finely engraved and well drawn view of the entrance of Gibraltar Bay is in the lower left corner. A three-master sails into the bay flanked by Cabreta Point and the Signal House. This map is dated June 4th, 1821 and is noted as the second edition.
