"The War in Europe", Ensign, Bridgman & Fanning

Very handsome pocket map has fine hand coloring and elaborate double border with flourishes at each corner. The map extends to include most of Scandinavia, Russia in Europe to the Urals, most of Persia, and the north of Africa to show portions of Morocco, Algiers, Tripoli, Egypt and Arabia. At far right are the Russian Tartary and Indian Tartary. Hand colored by country. The map folds into embossed and gilt-stamped cloth covers, 3.5 x 5.5".
