A fine set of engraved city plans from this infrequently seen atlas. The atlas was produced from an unusual collaboration between Johnston, a Scot, Rogers, an American, and Stanford, an Englishman. The cities are uncolored with areas of water in full color. Each sheet, except for New York, have two plans contained in a common border. This lot includes: 1) Quebec and its Environs/ Montreal; 2) New York and its Environs; 3) New Orleans / San Francisco; 4) Cincinnati & Vicinity / Louisville Jeffersonville & Vicinity; and 5) Philadelphia & Vicinity / Boston and its Environs. Lot of nine plans on five sheets.
