"The South East Prospect of Westminster Bridge",

Striking copper engraving of the Westminster Bridge. This view was originally created by Thomas Wilson in 1747, four years before the bridge was completed. London is shown in great detail at both ends of the bridge, with a key at the bottom to assist with identifying such places as Westminster Abbey, Lambeth House, and many amazing barges float along the Thames. These are elaborate barges, many for specific guilds, such as the Vintner's Barge, Goldsmith's Barge and the Clothworker's Barge.

Trimmed to neatline for binding and folds as issued. Some light toning and a marginal fold separation. Various types of tape on verso and fold separations. Still a stunning view, worthy of proper repair.
