This is a rare pocket map of New York City. The map includes large engravings of the Mercantile Exchange and City Hall. It is hand colored by wards and folds into gilt-stamped cloth covers, titled "N-York City". This is map was published by J. Langdon, 151 Fulton Street. It appears to be the same map as appeared in Hardie's Description of the City of New York, except that Langdon's name has replaced that of S. Marks.
