Pair of plans are from Pufendorf's chronicle on The Northern Wars and military campaigns of Sweden's King Charles X. 1) Fabulous scene of the Battle of Filipow on October 12, 1656 in which the Swedish defeated the Lithuanian army (14.4 x 11"). 2) Two bird's-eye plans of small fortified towns on the Drebnitz River (13 x 10.8"). Both ornamented with elaborate title cartouches and picture-frame style borders.

1) Fine. 2) Very good, with a crease along centerfold and a tiny rust spot.
