Six beautifully engraved and highly detailed charts that together cover all of France. Never joined, each measures approximately as given above. If joined they would form a spectacularly detailed map of France measuring about 50" wide and 54" tall. Detail of towns, villages, forests, rivers, roads, and more. Fancy title cartouche in rococo-style, another for the distance scales, and a third "Avertissement" cartouche. A very handsome and scarce set of charts from Thury's rare atlas of France.
