This lot of maps shows the United States, both from coast to coast and the earlier configuration terminating in the Mid-west. Lot includes: 1) "United States" by W. & R. Chambers, Edinburgh, 1838, outline color, 10 x 8.2". 2) "Etats-Unis de l'Amerique Du Nord et le Mexique" with inset of Great Britain and mountain elevations, by Justus Perthes, Gotha , hand color, 10 x 8.2". 3) "United States", by Archd. Fullerton & Co, Glasgow, c. 1821, b/w, 10 x 8" scattered foxing. 4) "United States" by Orr & Co., London, outline color, 8.2 x 10.2", light spots in Gulf. 5) "United States" by Thomas Kelly, London, 1836, b/w, 8 x 7.5". 6) "United States" by Longman, Rees, Orme, Brown & Green, London, c. 1821, outline color, 9.5 x7.5". 7) "United States and Canada", A. & C. Black, Edinburgh, c. 1849, hand color, 9.8 x 8". 8) "United States" by Orr & Smith, London, c 1836, b/w, 8.3 x 10".
