"County Atlas of California and Nevada…", Fireman's Fund Insurance Co.

Absolutely fantastic, rare pocket atlas with all counties of California and Nevada, corrected to March, 1909. Paper wrappers, Index to Counties, 58 counties on 30 full-page colored maps. This is a scarce advertising item published by the Fireman's Fund which was, as early as 1909, marketing automobile insurance. Also contains photo-etchings of the Fireman's Fund Building before and after the 1906 San Francisco earthquake noting the building successfully weathered the disaster. The maps were prepared by E.E. Eitel, Draughtsman.
