This detailed and expansive map covers all of the southern United States up to the Carolinas at Cape Henry. Map continues through the region labeled the Great Space of Land unknown to the southern tip of Baja California. All of the Caribbean is shown, naming the Great Antilles, Cuba, the Bahamas, with the Windward and Leeward together labeled Caribbee Is. Filled with place names and rivers and a great number of Indian tribes. Decorated with a ribbon-style cartouche.

Very nice impression on a sheet of hand laid paper. Some very light offsetting visible in blank areas and two tiny fold intersection splits visible when held to light. Three short fold separations closed with archival tape. Binding trim lower left.
