This fine map of Spain is based on the cartography of Sanson. It extends to includes the Balearic Islands and is filled with place names and other details. Shows the incredible Canal du Midi in southern France. Extensive tables at lower left. Decorative title rococo-style cartouche incorporates four distance scales.

Good impression on very thick hand laid paper. Period paper added to left and right sides on verso to support original folds with some slight loss at lower right. Occasional scattered foxing or toning.
