Great large-scale sea chart of the southeastern coast of Australia from a survey by Captain J. Lort Stokes of the H.M.S. Acheron. This chart was originally published in 1851 based on these surveys and includes corrections made March 1864 by the Hydrographic Office of the Admiralty. Uncolored except for four lighthouses in Sydney Harbor, which are colored yellow and red. Label of the Blundell & Fored, Admiralty Chart Agents, Melbourne in bottom blank margin.

Bit of light soil and adhesive residue from an agent's stamp, but overall excellent condition for a working sea chart.
