"[Lot of 2] Chart of Santa Monica Bay [and] Chart of San Pedro Bay", U.S. Coast Survey

The first chart (22.4 x 41.8") shows street plan for Santa Monica, Balongna Tract and the Redondo Beach Track. It extends from Pt. Dume south to Pt. Vincenti and locates the race track. Red over printing shows elevations. No mention of Malibu or of the future site of POP. On two sheets, joined as issued. The second chart (16" x 32.5") details the coast from San Pedro to Newport Bay, noting the rivers Santa Ana, San Gabriel and New San Gabriel. Shows street patterns for Wilmington, San Pedro, Long Beach, and Alamitos Beach. Red overprinting shows numerous soundings and the 1, 2, 3 and 10 fathom depth curves.

The former has a little discoloring along joint and one small fold intersection split. The latter with a couple fold splits at margin.
