Nearly complete and nice later 19th century atlas with over 90 maps and numerous diagrams and historical charts. Maps of all the U.S. states and Canadian provinces, and countries throughout the world, most printed on both sides of the sheets. All double-page maps are printed on one sheet and attached to atlas with a backstrap. Historical section on the United States includes additional thematic maps. A single-sheet, containing the Arizona and Utah maps is missing. Twenty-First edition published by Henry S. Stebbins. 231 pp., title page, table of contents, maps and charts. Hardbound in stamped pictorial cloth with gilt titling.
