Very unusual and graphically striking world map with over 30 small colored scenes illustrating activities in different parts of the world, e.g. gold mining in California, seal-killing in Greenland, numerous ships, a monster in the south Atlantic, Polar bear in the Arctic, etc… Accompanied by a 36 pp. Pamphlet, titled same as the map, with text in German, gazetteer style. No records found for this map.

Backed with heavy linen, two tiny splits on centerfold. Light scattered toning, else very good.
