Terrific early hand colored map by George Cram just before he turned to printed color maps using the wax engraving method. Map includes California north to above Fresno City and Santa Cruz. Railroads are well developed with a contiguous route across Arizona and through California to San Bernardino and northward to beyond Fresno. Spur routes connect San Diego, Los Angeles, Santa Ana and Wilmington. Excellent detail of watershed and topography, towns and forts. Prescott is the capitol of Arizona. Oval title cartouche.
