A very handsome and large map in original color that shows great detail for the period. It was engraved on the same scale as the original drawing by James Rennell, the Surveyor General of the East India Company. Due to its large size, it includes a great amount of detail, locating scores of villages, roads, military outposts, and much more. The large title cartouche includes a river god, leopard, and several native people. On two un-joined sheets.
